Module 9 - Academic Research and Writing (6 ECTS Credits)

Module outcome:

• Independent development of a relevant research topic for a master thesis.
• Presentation of the master thesis.
• Discussing, consulting and reviewing the chosen topic with peers (fellow students).

On completion of the Master thesis students will be able to…

• Independently discuss a chosen research topic which is well-founded theoretically, balanced in form and content, methodically profound and under consideration of contemporary scientific discourse.
• Reflect on criteria of data collection methods, choose the most appropriate methods according to the relevant research questions as well as to critically reflect their own socio-political and scientific role.
• Design a written thesis including scientific argumentation, prove their written articulacy.
• Transform conceptual thinking into a coherent written thesis.
